Patch 1.0 - Patch 1.4.4

  • Updated source code to current EQEMU distribution.
  • Removed 100+ extraneous calls associated with popup window.
  • Converted a ton of plugins to use new functionality hard coded in the source updates.
  • Resolved an issue with data buckets becoming undefined.
  • Cleaned up code and otherwise optimized every NPC in the hub zone
  • Added a new NPC scaling system & tuned numbers to a ballpark area.
  • Went through Tiers 1-20 and normalized NPC levels.
  • Completely rewrote Instancing cutting down on server lag.
  • Command system completely rewritten.
  • Buff system completely rewritten.
  • Most NPCs in the hub changed from using a popup window to sending text to the chatbox.
  • Increased the mana cost of spells across the board.
  • Complete overhauled the Tier keying system.
  • Changed Corrupted Zones to require Tier 10 and a completed Epic 2.0 to enter.

  • Pets decreased from level 85 to 75
  • Enchanter: Mezz spells didn't have a max level defined so they were unusable. Set max level to the spell level + 10
  • Increased AA Experience drastically in the Tier zones.
  • Donator Currency can now drop in the Tier zones. The drop rate increases as you progress higher.
  • Complete rewrite of the Legacy AFK System
  • Expanded existing GM tools to account for upcoming systems
  • Necro: Dark Possession / Grave Pact got their mana regeneration rate increased to 420 and 490 respectively
  • Enchanter: Increased Voice of Clairvoyance Max Mana and Mana Regen to 2500 and 500 respectively
  • Paladin: Ward of Tunare's healing increased and it now grants you 15% flurry chance
  • The Epic 2.0 boss has been made MUCH easier
  • Pending a server restart you will now be granted 8 Class Shards upon leveling to 70
  • Necro: Tier 1 Chest should now properly spawn the swarm pet
  • Ranger: Added Focused Storm of Arrows to the level 70 spell set
  • Ranger: Hail of Arrows mana cost increased, cooldown set to 10s and cast time increased to 1.2s
  • Made the Epic 2.0 boss easier *again*
  • Created an entirely new quest method to facilitate rewriting of 'crafting' NPCs
  • Rewrote all 'crafting' NPCs in the hub zone to use our new quest method to fix a few exploits
  • You will now auto-train skills/disciplines/spells on level up
  • Money now autoloots from corpses.. will be setting other stuff to this in the near future as well.
  • 8 Free Tier Shards upon level 70 is now active
  • You now get 3 free Augment Distillers when crafting a Corrupted Weapon
  • The 2.0 Boss adds will drop 2000-5000 platinum, down from 15000-40000
  • Ranger: Upped the damage of the Poison Arrow AA to 10/12/14k between ranks 1-3.. the DoT portion remains unchanged
  • Created a completely new method to handle Radiant / Ebon Crystals
  • Should have fixed critical spell/melee damage not showing correct values
  • Rewrote Alchemist Viktor to use new methods of handling crystals
  • Warriors: Testing out Cyclone Blade scaling upped damage significantly
  • Set all spells that had a 0.3 cast time to a 2 second cast time
  • Set all DoT spells to have a .5 second cast time with a 1 second recast time
  • Set the Cast Time of all spells to 2 seconds where it was lower than 2 seconds and greater than 0 (Affected 8482 spells)
  • Set the Recovery Time of all spells to .5 seconds where it was lower than .5 seconds and greater than 0 (Affected 15822 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of single target Healing and Healing-Over-Time spells to 1.5 seconds (Affected 291 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of group Healing and Healing-Over-Time spells to 3.5 seconds and the Cooldown to 6 seconds (Affected 58 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of Damage-Over-Time spells to .5 seconds and the Cooldown to 1 second (Affected 514 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of all Direct Damage spells with a base damage of over 9000 to 3 seconds and the Cooldown to 2 seconds (Affected 125 spells)
  • Increased the mana cost of spells with a base damage of over 9000 by 35% (Affected 26 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of all Ranger, Shadowknight, and Beastlord Direct Damage spells to .5 seconds and the Cooldown to 7.5 seconds (Affected 206 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of SK Spear line of spells back to .5 seconds (Affected 26 spells)
  • Set the Cast Time of all Direct Damage spells with a base damage lower than 9000 to 1500 and the Cooldown to 1 second (Affected 663 spells)
  • Fixed Enchanter AoE Stun line of spells
  • Warriors/Berserkers may now learn Double Attack starting at level 1 to a max of 300 (up from 265)
  • Warriors/Berserkers may now learn Triple Attack starting at level 20 to a max of 275
  • Bards/Beastlords may now learn Double Attack starting at level 40 to a max of 200 (up from 0)
  • All players will now start at 120 base stats (This should vastly help increase leveling when you pick up defiant gear now)
  • Increased the Spell Damage modifier by a decent amount (This is a buff to all spells)
  • Nerfed Spell Damage Modifier (Set to 375 from 325) and Lifetaps (Set to 825 from 725)
  • Ward of Tunare and Decrepit Skin now have 72 charges and work off of successful ripostes rather than a normal Defensive Proc
  • Decrepit Skin is now a 750pt Rune (up from between 100-262)
  • Autoloot added. This will be monitored over the next few days.
  • Warrior 3.0 has a new worn effect
  • Beastlord 3.0 heal has been nerfed
  • Beastlord Spell Ancient: Savage Ice and Glacier Spear base damages changed from 10340/9580 to 6450 and 5580
  • Beastlord Spell Spiritual Ascendance HP and Mana regeneration increased to 275 from 10
  • Nerfed Pet HP across the board for all classes
  • Pets now heal less with lifetap weapons and overall do slightly less damage with all damage procs
  • Swarm pets now scale similarly to regular pets but at a much higher multiplier - This may need to be balanced further.
  • Bestial Empathy and Raging Servant now have a 15 second cooldown
  • Corrupted Bow damage multiplied by 4
  • Fixed Bard Song of Stone AA
  • Fixed Beastlord Attack of the Warders AA
  • Added Combat Proficiency for War/Pal/SK - This may need to be balanced further.
  • *** Cleric 3.0 has been completely overhauled
  • Empty NPC corpses will now decay in 1 second instead of 6
  • Mobs in templeveeshan, droga, sleeper, eastkarana will no longer flee at low HP
  • Entire Rework of Custom Stat Scaling - This will require a retune of each modifier one-by-one so be patient
  • Loyalty System updated
  • Epic 3.0s have been renamed and 90% of them have had their models changed.. Will be overhauling effects on them today
  • Strength Modifier changed from 17.5 to 15. 15 STR = 1% Melee Damage
  • Dexterity Modifier changed from 60.0 to 12. 12 DEX = 1% Skill Damage
